Fenrir image copywritten, used with permission from doug cavanaugh artist and ownder of “celtic hammer club” do not replicate this design without his written permission. Axe not included, price is for sporran alone. Last photo is of me performing the sword dance in my regalia. I use these sporrans for casual to fully formal wear. They always get compliments. 8″ tall by 6.5″ across and are 2.5 wide/deep. One wallet, car keys, iphone 7 etc in mine and still have room to grow. This does not come with a belt or chain, it is just the sporran. The back is made to do two things. Attach to a kilt chain or slide on any regular belt up to 1.5 wide. Beautiful easy to work button metal button clasp and number one quality art. You are supporting two artists as i send a portion to doug as well from each sale. Leather tooling itself is only the first step of creating a piece. There are so many people who use pre-made forms and stamps these days. I have stepped away from that. After i carve and tool the leather i have to let it dry for 24 hours, i then dye the piece, let it sit for 24 hours, i then paint it (if dye in that color is not available) and let it sit for 24 hours, i then put on a seal finish and oil, i let it sit for 24 hours, i then put all the metal pieces onto the piece. I then spend about an hour-2hours sewing this item. I can not express how much time and love is put into every sporran i make. With proper care your sporran will last you years, years and years. The older leather tooling looks the better it looks. Last picture in this listing is a photo of the actual artist. Artist name: aodhĂ n crawford. Tribal affiliation: aniyunwiya tsalagi (cherokee). Your item comes with certificate of native american made/celtic made authenticity. I also donated items to various prisons to help fund their native american programs and help those who can not help themselves. Inedible meat is donated to zoos and local raptor rehab facilities. This item is made of 4oz steer hide and leather dye.
